Volunteer Opportunities  

United Way of Central Indiana   Your donation of time is one of the most precious gifts we can receive. The Community Foundation of Morgan County is working with the United Way of Morgan County to place volunteers in a variety of positions throughout Morgan County These opportunities can include outdoor beautification at housing facilities for homeless veterans, assembling backpacks with food that is given to kids in need, working at the homes of seniors, helping in classrooms with preschool students, painting, and other options.

Volunteer Opportunity with United Way of Central Indiana

United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI) agency evaluation volunteers are needed in Morgan County.  UWCI is committed to assuring the community and its donors that UWCI certified agencies are well managed, fiscally responsible, and provide vital human services for those who need help most.

All it takes is two hours of training, two to three hours to review agency materials and one half-day to conduct the site visit and recommend scores. Evaluations are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays from May to August.

  •  Thursday, February 16 (2-4 p.m.)
  • Thursday, March 9 (9-11 a.m.)
  •  Wednesday, March 22 (9-11 a.m.)
  •  Tuesday, April 25 (9-11 a.m.)
  •  Wednesday, May 10 (2-4 p.m.)
  •  Thursday, June 6 (2-4 p.m.)
