Your donation of time is one of the most precious gifts we can receive. The Community Foundation of Morgan County, Inc. is looking for volunteers for a variety of duties, projects and special events. The following volunteers are needed:

• Office Receptionist: Our office is in need of volunteer receptionists to answer phones, greet guests and do light office work such as filing, shredding, or copying as needed. This position is needed for shifts during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We would be happy to work with multiple volunteers to accomplish this much-needed position. 
• Office Volunteers: Office volunteers are needed from time to time to perform light office work such as filing, shredding, copying, database entry, etc. Projects also often arise for which we need additional help. These volunteers would be contacted on an as-needed basis. Tasks could be a few hours or for a longer duration, depending on the schedule of the volunteer.
• Gardener: We like to put our best foot forward by welcoming visitors to the historic Academy Building with a pleasant landscape. Maintenance to the grounds outside our building requires trimming bushes and maintaining and enhancing flowerbeds.

Danielle Strohmeyer, Summer Intern 2007

   Danielle Strohmeyer (shown left) joined the CFMC as a summer intern in May. 

   "I chose to volunteer my time with the Community Foundation of Morgan County because I knew how wide-spread it was," Danielle said. "By helping here, I felt like I was helping all over the county."

   Danielle is a sophomore at Depauw University in Greencastle, Ind., studying political science and Chinese. At Depauw, Danielle is a Bonner Scholar and is involved in the Alumni Club. She is also a Student Development Intern at West Central Educational Service Center. Danielle is a 2006 graduate of Mooresville High School. Danielle's last day was July 26.
