Fund Description:

To provide mentoring for at-risk youth in Morgan County

Purpose: This fund exists to provide direct monetary resources towards the encouragement, assistance and inspiration of families in the greater Martinsville area to overcome physical, home and/or health-related challenges through the direct and exclusive administrative assistance of the family services coordinators within the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville, Indiana.

History: The late Becky Sonnega’s life inspired and made better the lives of her husband, children, friends, church family, and all of those to whom she extended an understanding word and a caring demeanor. Despite her courageous five (5) year battle with Stage 4 Cancer, Becky consistently placed the good and well-being of others before her own needs and concerns, even as her illness diminished both energy and strength.
