Fund Description:

To make certain grants and awards annually and from time to time to perpetuate the memory and character of Brianna McQueen.

Purpose: To provide grants and awards annually and from time to time to perpetuate the memory and character of Brianna McQueen.

History: The fund was created in memory and celebration of the life of Brianna McQueen. The fund is used to conduct fundraising that may help organizations like the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation which conducts research and helps those afflicted with such conditions. The fund is also used to conduct fundraising that may help those with the pediatric brain tumors, or to honor the memory of Brianna McQueen with scholarship or grants.

2014 Fundraiser: On Saturday, September 6th the 2nd Annual Ride to Cure Pediatric Cancer will once again honor the memory of Brianna McQueen who passed away on March 21st, 2012 at the age of nine years old. Registration for the ride takes place between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. at the VFW Post #1257 in Martinsville. All bikes are welcome, and the cost is $15 per person, or $25 per couple, with all proceeds benefitting the LovingBri Fund at the Community Foundation of Morgan County. The 2013 ride raised nearly $3,000, supporting research into pediatric brain cancers through the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
