Fund Description:

To provide two farmers market locations in Morgan County

Purpose: To provide support for the Morgan County Farmers Market. The fund is to provide two attractive locations for consumers to purchase locally grown, fresh produce from local farmers and growers. Along with this purpose the Farmers market wants to support local farmers and growers, to enrich the community by promoting a healthy lifestyle, and to provide a community activity that fosters social gathering and interaction within the downtown areas of Martinsville and Mooresville.

 

History: The Morgan County Farmers Market was established in 2009. The Morgan County Farmers’ Market locations in Mooresville, and Martinsville, Indiana, they will be open rain or shine! Open May-September of each year, the Mooresville Market Tuesday 3:00 to 6:00PM, and the Martinsville Market Saturday 9:00AM to 1:00PM.
