2025 QUARTERLY MEETINGS: March 6, June 5, September 4, December 11
Brickhouse on Main, Martinsville, Indiana. 5:30-7 pm
ATTENTION ALL 501(c)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS: CFMC is currently organizing 2 giving circles in Morgan County – 100+ Women Who Care and Guys Who Give. Several counties have successfully launched these giving circle initiatives, and we too want to bring this supportive network to our local nonprofits who are making Morgan County a better place to live.
THIS IS HOW IT WORKS: 100+ Women Who Care Morgan County will convene every quarter, and within an hour and a half will give away thousands of dollars with no strings attached to the dollars. Each member commits $500 annually paid in $100 increments. The $100 membership fee goes to an endowment fund at CFMC as a forever fund, and the other $400 is used as grant money for the winning non-profit organizations who win the most votes at the quarterly meetings. We have seen the 100+ Women Who Care Johnson County in action – they are a lively, energetic, and enthusiastic about dedicating much-needed financial assistance to the chosen organizations. Their group is 10 years old now and has granted out just under $500,000 to support their not-for-profits.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR NONPROFITS? Members will nominate, advocate, and vote for their favorite nonprofits at each quarterly meeting. Three nonprofits will be pulled from the “nomination purse,” and the members who nominated those pulled will have 5 minutes to present on behalf of the nonprofit to persuade voters. Only members can attend, nominate, and vote. Membership is open, so employees of nonprofits are welcome to join.
Please fill this out if you are a nonprofit in Morgan County or serving the community in Morgan County. https://smr.to/p102129
