2026 Community Impact Grant
CFMC Community Impact Grants offer financial assistance for charitable programs and projects serving Morgan County.
Our 2026 Community Impact Grant is a responsive grant program designed to be open-ended allowing for nonprofits and charitable groups to apply for funding to help meet the needs and missions of their organization to serve Morgan County. Our goal is to help fund a project/program/initiative that will propel your organization and our county forward.

Requirements
Who/What is Eligible:
- Applicants do not have to be 501(c)(3) public charity; however, the applicant program/project must be charitable and serve the general population/be open to the public for Morgan County.
- Applicants must be in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Office of the Indiana Secretary of State of IN, and any other pertinent governing entity.
- Projects/programs/initiatives must not discriminate in terms of provision, and the applying organization must not discriminate in staffing or hiring decisions.
- Funds must be utilized specifically for the purpose stated in the application.
Who/What is Ineligible:
Government agencies.
Fundraising events (galas, golf tournaments, walk-a-thons, etc.).
Projects promoting a specific religion.
Organizations or initiatives that discriminate based on race, sex, color, age, religion, nationality, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, citizenship status, military service/veteran status, or any other category protected under state or local law.
Political campaigns or initiatives aimed at promoting a particular political party or candidate.
Post-event, after-the-fact situations, or debt retirement.
Funding for endowments.
Classroom grants.
Bands, sports teams, or other groups without a specific philanthropic project.

In 2026, CFMC will award $160,000 in unrestricted funds. The grant(s) given will depend on the requests and impact potential. We encourage applicants to demonstrate the full need of their requests.
CFMC reserves the right to fully fund or partially fund any request or require matching funds.
