CFMC Scholarships

The Community Foundation of Morgan County administers 45 scholarship funds, as well as the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program for our county. Since 2002, the Community Foundation has awarded nearly 1288 scholarships worth over 2,134,620. These scholarships are funded by donors who believe in higher education and supporting Morgan County high school seniors in their post-high school endeavors.

Application Process and Requirements

CFMC scholarship applications are completed online.  Only one application must be completed per student, and this application will be used to pair students with the scholarships that match their eligibility.   Applications for the Class of 2026 are now closed.

2026 Summer Cycle:  July 6 – September 4 at 4 pm

2026 Winter Cycle: November 20 – January 15 at 4 pm

The following requirements must be met to complete the application process:

  1. Applicant must be a Morgan County resident or student*
  2. Applicant provides contact information, education, activities, employment and a personal statement.
  3. Applicant completes the application online truthfully and in its entirety by the deadline.
    • The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program is open to Morgan County students IF they
      1. Reside in Morgan County
      2. Attend school in Morgan County AND
      3. Are not eligible for the Lilly Scholarship in another county because they attend school in Morgan County.
